Two rules most players miss

You have 31 days to activate a bonus after it is issued. The 7-day wagering clock starts only when you activate it. Activate on a day when you actually have time to play that week.
Non-sticky: your cash plays first
Your deposit and the bonus sit in separate balances. You play with your own money first. If you win before touching the bonus, you can cancel it and withdraw once your deposit has been wagered once.
While the bonus is active, keep every bet at C$7.50 or less. Once you play on bonus money, the x40 must be finished or the bonus cancelled before you can cash out.

Rules that void the bonus or block a payout
Cashing out before x40 is done
The bonus and all winnings made with it are removed. The rest of your real balance is paid as normal.
Any bet over C$7.50
One spin or round above C$7.50 with an active bonus can void the bonus and its winnings. This covers slots, bonus buys and gamble features after a win.
Buying features above C$7.50
With a bonus active, a feature buy counts as one bet. Most bonus buys cost far more than C$7.50, so leave them until the bonus is finished.
Reaching C$3,000 in bonus winnings
Winnings from the bonus are capped at C$3,000. Once you hit the cap, extra bonus winnings do not count.
Missing the 7-day window
Unfinished wagering after 7 days cancels the bonus automatically, with its winnings.
Deposit not wagered once
Every deposit must be wagered at least once before a withdrawal goes through, with or without a bonus.

Reality check: the full C$1,000 bonus needs C$40,000 in bets within 7 days. At C$1 a spin that is about 5,700 spins a day. At the C$7.50 maximum it is still over 760 spins a day. Big bonuses look good on paper, but a C$30 to C$100 deposit is the size most players can actually clear.
